Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Nublet macOS app and website. By installing or using Nublet, you agree to them.
Last updated: not set
This document is a draft pending review.
The legal entity, effective date and governing law are not yet set, and the source drafts ask for a lawyer’s review before publication. Fill in legal in components/data/site-config.ts and this notice disappears.
These terms are between you and [legal entity not set] (“we”, “us”).
1. Your licence
- Nublet is licensed, not sold. When you buy a licence we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Nublet for its supported number of Macs:
- Single Mac — activate on one Mac at a time.
- Up to 3 Macs — activate on up to three Macs you own or control.
- You may move a seat between your own Macs by deactivating one and activating another.
- You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or reverse-engineer the app, or remove or circumvent its licensing.
2. Free trial
Nublet offers a 14-day free trial with full features. When the trial ends, Pro features lock but the app keeps working with its free features. No card is required to start the trial.
3. Purchases, pricing and refunds
- Purchases are processed by Polar, the merchant of record, subject to its terms. Prices are one-time payments unless stated otherwise.
- Because you can fully evaluate Nublet during the trial, refunds are at our discretion. If something’s wrong, email support@nublet.dev within 14 days of purchase and we’ll make it right where reasonable. Statutory consumer rights in your country still apply.
4. Acceptable use
Use Nublet lawfully. Don’t use it to infringe others’ rights, and don’t rely on its dictation or transcription for high-stakes contexts (medical, legal, safety) where an error could cause harm — it’s a productivity tool, not a certified transcription service.
5. Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. Some third-party models or services Nublet relies on may change; we’ll do our best to keep things working but can’t guarantee a specific feature forever.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Nublet is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or perfectly accurate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of Nublet. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
These terms apply while you use Nublet. We may suspend or terminate a licence that violates them. You may stop using Nublet at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law not set], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to its courts, unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
